1. ECOexpress

The ECOexpress is an HSC milling and engraving system in a compact design, equipped with LNC express control and software from LANG.

High precision and durability are guarantees for professional use. Due to the large working range, engravings, and the finest milling and drilling work on punches, embossing tools, electrodes, and front panels can be produced quickly and economically.

The ECOexpress is equipped with the control unit LNC express from LANG. This offers a powerful extension for high-resolution 3 axis servo control. It enables a higher speed and acceleration as well as more flexibility and comfort in machine operation.

The current output software of this machine is the LDriver from LANG, with a comfortable, Windows 10 based user interface. The graphical visualization of the CAM data on the 21" touch control panel simplifies machine operation significantly, also an additional manual control unit with a handwheel encoder and tip mode.

This machine is based on a solid granite design for optimal absorption of vibration and temperature fluctuation. The result is the highest possible production quality. 3. Impala 400express

The Impala 400express impresses with precision and versatile functionality - and all this in an extremely compact design with intelligent details for maximum efficiency. This makes it your reliable partner for a wide range of applications.

 

Economical: The in-house developed control system and the machine are perfectly matched to each other, and with powerful accessories and high-quality tools the best possible efficiency in processing your orders is guaranteed.

 

Whether, for example, embossing dies and tools, injection moulds, molettes or small embossing cylinders: the Impala 400express achieves optimum results with short production times and high process reliability.

 

Dynamic: Of course, like all machines of the Impala series, the Impala 400express also has the temperature-stable and vibration-damping granite bed developed by LANG. This enables the special dynamic processing of the variety of materials required by your customers while ensuring maximum precision so that excellent surface quality is always achieved. At the same time, high-quality servo drives in all axes guarantee optimum results.

 

Precision: Encapsulated glass scales, high-precision spindles, guide rails...combined with the granite bed and the final assembly by our experienced team, the precision is achieved for which LANG machines are known worldwide.

For setup purposes, the workpieces can not only be measured contactless with our camera system but also measured and documented after processing.

 

Attention to detail: An optimized chip management with an integrated chip tray allows clean work at any time without disturbing the workflow. Easily accessible from the outside and perfectly integrated are the maintenance unit, control cabinet, and optional cooling lubricant system. As a matter of course, the Impala 400express can be transported without disassembly and is therefore quickly installed on-site and available in the shortest possible time.

 

Durable: Last but not least, this machine also impresses with the same long service life that you can expect from all LANG machines. In fact, our currently oldest machine still in production is well over 30 years old. And even our older machines still look good with a little care: Granite is highly resistant to aggressive media such as cooling lubricants, acids, and alkalis.

 

In case of service: In case it should come to that, we solve about 85% of all service cases online. The compact spindles can be replaced directly by the operator and in combination with our unique rental spindle service, this results in very short downtimes and low service costs. 5. Impala 800S

The IMPALA S-series with servo motor control is our answer to the requirements of the market. The IMPALA S-series carries advanced drive and control technology as the basis for high-speed machining. These machines offer solutions for a productive high-speed machining of hardened steel (up to HRC64) as well as soft materials, stainless steel, plastic, brass, copper,

graphite, wood, etc. The IMPALA 800S is a professional machine for the tool and mold-making industry and a strong partner for high-precision engraving jobs. 6. RM 800S

The professional machine for cylinder processing!

The RM 800S has been specially developed and designed for the production of printing, cutting, and embossing cylinders with a diameter from 40 up to 320 mm. The machine is characterized by high flexibility with the selection of workpieces.

 

The steplessly adjustable tailstock in X direction – counter support – permits the clamping of cylinders up to 820 mm between centers and therefore enables treatment of the working range up to 720 mm length.

The design of the machine allows being loaded and unloaded with a crane.

A granite portal construction, high precision guiding systems, as well as a lot of other equipment, take care that no contour „loses its shape“. The machine is equipped with a 3-D output program LDRIVER of LANG, which enables a comfortable output of the milling paths.
With traversing speeds (advance and speed) in X and Z axis up to 30 m/min., a circular engraving device of max. 30 rpm/min. and acceleration in X and Z axis of max. 10 m/s² high economical machining is guaranteed.

7. RM 1200S

A special engraving machine for the manufacture of cutting and embossing cylinders. The circular engraving device and the counter support are steplessley adjustable in X-direction for the most different cylinder lengths. This result is high flexibility when choosing the workpieces. A crane loading of the machine with cylinders is possible.

8. LGT-S II

The LGT-S II is a special high-precision milling machine for the engraving of 2D- and 3D data on tire sidewall molds in nearly every size. The machine body is a heavy-duty, torsions free, tubular steel construction filled with a vibration-reducing compound- for extremely high stability. The machine enclosure with the collecting tray allows the wet processing of the molds. Sidewall molds for car tires and truck tires can be produced with the best quality. The X- and Z-axis are located on the crosswise frame, the C-axis turns the rotation symmetrical workpiece, the B-axis needs to be selected (depends on milling spindle). The LGT-S II wins with its modern, functional design and integrated control cabinet.

9. LGR-S

The LGR-S is an ultraprecision machine for engraving 2D and 3D data on tire sidewall moulds. The machine body is a heavy-duty, torsion-free, tubular steel construction filled with a vibration-reducing compound – for extremely high stability. Tire sidewall moulds for tires for motorbikes, cars, trucks, and OTR can be produced to the highest quality on the LGR-S.

The machine will be driven by high dynamic AC servo drives.

10. Accessories Milling Technology

Cutter Grinder

The Grinding and re-sharpening of engraving and milling cutters, multi-flute cutters, sensor dips, and turning and shaping tools. The high precision fine adjustment enables a reading accuracy of 0,01 mm. Grinding spindle with precision bearings, coordinates measuring device with 20X measuring optic, direct clamping system for change cone systems.

Horizontal Double Clamping Device

The horizontal double clamping system from LANG is the ideal accessory for the economic production of relief double dies or coining dies. A  conversion set for the milling spindle fixture allows work to be done on both horizontal and vertical. An axis change kit for control adaption is included.

Changing Cones and Collets

Pick-up tool changer, disk-type tool changer, and chain-type tool changer with up to 60 stations are available for our machines. LANG pick-up tool changers include a tool length measuring system. Customized tool-changing systems are available on request.

Laser Control Micro Compact NT

To detect the tool diameter and tool length by rotating the spindle. The tool wear can also be monitored with this system. Tools that are broken during the working process can be detected.

SU2

Tool changing systems

Pick-up tool changer, disk type tool changer and chain type tool changer with up to 60 stations are available for our machines. LANG pick-up tool changers include a tool length measuring system. Customized tool-changing systems are available on request.

Camera systems

Different camera systems are available for our LANG milling machines. Our systems allow a comfortable adjusting and/or measuring of the work piece directly on the machine.

Round Axis

Different round axis devices for every type of the IMPALA series are available.
These devices allow the machining of rotationally symmetrical surfaces like embossing cylinders.

Milling Spindle Packages

LANG offers different milling spindle packages for diverse applications. The standard milling spindle is listed in the technical data overviews. Further milling spindles upon request.

Probe Z-Nano

The tool setting probe Z-Nano is a cable-bound measuring system that allows fast, precise, and automatic tool length measurement and broken tool detection in machining centers. Its rugged mechanical design and the optoelectronic signal generation via an integrated light barrier guarantees the highest reliability under roughest conditions.

Cooling and Lubricating Jet

Low use of lubricant allows residue-free working, a clean working area, and reduction of the work of the personnel as well as a reduction of the costs for cleaning. Long tool lifetime, because of the friction reduction at the cutter.

OMP 40

OMP 40  meets the demand for probing on small machining centres and the growing family of high-speed machines fitted with small HSK and small taper spindles. The length of this probe matches typical tooling lengths, bringing the significant advantages of probing to such small machines for the very first time.
